We are delighted to open the whole gallery to the seven members of A I R (Artists in Rannoch) for our Autumn exhibition. The exhibition features oils, site specific installations, words, tapestry, acrylics, cast bronze; in fact art with all the diversity and passion that you would expect to flow from this fascinating glen.

Finding Our Way - A History of Scottish Maps

This weekend is the last chance to see our very popular Maps and Mapping Exhibition in Aberfeldy. It ends on Sunday 2nd September but don't worry you haven't missed it completely! You will be able to see the collection of fascinating old maps in our sister shop, The Highland Bookshop in Fort William from Saturday 8th September.

Going West? The Highland Bookshop, a sister shop to The Watermill has just opened in Fort William. A joint venture between Watermill owners Jayne & Kevin Ramage and Lochaber author Angus MacDonald, it is the first dedicated bookshop in the town for many years. Jamie Grant to open Winter Words 2017

Watermill Books author and photographer Jamie Grant is opening this year’s Winter Words Festival at Pitlochy Festival Theatre with an iillustrated account of the sub-Antarctic isle of South Georgia on the 16th of February. He spent the 2015-16 austral summer on the island as Artist in Residence for The South Georgia Heritage Trust (SGHT) and published ‘Summer in South Georgia,’ with Watermill Books in September 2016. Tickets can be booked via Pitlochry Theatre website.
