Roads all clear

Posted 7pm Monday. If you are thinking of travelling to Aberfeldy to visit The Watermill, Kevin and Jayne drove back from Edinburgh on Monday afternoon - the roads were all clear. A bit of snow on the road around Kinross during a shower but fine after that, so unless there are more heavy falls overnight there should be no problems getting to The Watermill from the south at least. With about 15cm of lying snow around Aberfeldy everthing is lookng really special!

Amazon pays NO tax

Amazon pays NO UK tax on £3.3bn sales - (Guardian 5/4/12). But it takes government money for its new distribution centre and its lorries use the roads. Its employees will use hospitals, schools and public transport. It's time to boycott these giants who wilfully avoid taxes.
Watermill on STV news 6.15 tonight

The Watermill and Aberfeldy Fairtrade are due to be on STV news at about 6.15 tonight (Monday 27th). STV are doing a piece about Fairtrade Fortnight (27 Feb - 11 March) and 10th anniversary of Aberfeldy as Scotland's first Fairtrade town.
