Gallery

On the top floor, situated among former mill machinery, The Watermill Gallery features abstract modern and contemporary paintings that draw inspiration from landscapes and elements. We also have a range of works by ceramic artist Lotte Glob and will be holding a major exhibition of Lotte Glob’s work opening on 2nd August 2008.

As well as contemporary art, the gallery is also home to an outstanding selection of limited edition prints including works by key figures of post war art such as Miro, Lichtenstein, Hirst, Hepworth and Moore. We also hold a wide selection of prints by Vasarely.

Depending on our exhibition programme our prints may not be on display, but please ask – we are always pleased to show you what we have. Prints that are currently for sale will be found in the Modern Print Masters exhibition below.

Buying a piece of art is now easy and affordable. Through Own Art you can borrow up to £2,000 and pay it back at 0% finance (interest free) over 10 months.

Artworks are displayed around the building with the main gallery space on the top floor, reached by a single flight of stairs. If this access is not possible, works can be viewed at the counter on this website and our staff will be pleased to bring works downstairs to be viewed.
