The Old Mill Barn next door to The Watermill showcases a dynamic collection of design-led homeware and vintage furniture, bringing yet another dimension to The Watermill experience. We see the beauty in subtleties of imperfection that are impossible to reproduce.
The Homer concept is practical but playful design for everyday objects; the mundane made beautiful. We even go as far as beautiful cleaning tools - housework can feel almost glamorous when you use a handmade beech wood brush or a natural rubber washing-up bowl.
Your home should be a canvas to express your personality, passions and wit. We take pride in rescuing items, cherishing them with a lick of paint or a new hinge and giving them a new lease of life, or sometimes a whole new purpose. When you give one of these vintage pieces a new home, you will have the joy of continuing its story. Click here to view our current stock of vintage furniture.
Local designer Kate Gibson has designed a tweed exclusive to Homer. The lambswool and silk yarn was traditionally woven at the Glenlyon Tweed Mill, here in Aberfeldy. This luxurious tweed together with Scottish Red Deer leather has been fashioned into two contemporary styles of handbags, produced as a limited edition and only available at Homer.
