Designed in 1969, it is made of transparent acrylic with polished aluminium reflectors finished in blue, white and orange lacquer. As with all Verner Panton designs, the detailing is superb, for example the beautiful chrome ball at the bottom holding it all together and the way in which the light source is hidden.

Verpan Pantop Floor Lamp

Designed in 1980, the Pantop floor lamp has a chrome stem and base with a metal shade. The base on this lamp is really heavy - this is one floor lamp that won't topple over at the first nudge. A typical Panton detail is the transparent plug, switch and cable.

We have recently received delivery of over 400 classical, jazz, folk and world music cds including many titles we have not stocked before. In classical we have new titles from Harmonia Mundi and a special offer on Regis recordings - great value at £4.99 - of 5 for £20. New additions to folk include recordings by Leadbelly, Woodie Guthrie and Clannad. In World music we have a strong representation of fantastic African rhythms and in particular recommend Tres Tres Fort by Staff Benda Billi from the Congo.
